Looking for a fun and educational camp experience this summer? SIU Carbondale hosts several week-long aviation camps for interested high school students. Whether your interests are in flight, aviation management, air traffic control, maintenance, or even aerospace, we just might have something for you!
Summer Wings: June 16-21, 2013
Are you interested in flying and want to learn more? Then Summer Wings may be just the camp for you! This academic camp is designed to introduce the high school student to collegiate aviation flight training.

NASA Wings: July 7-12, 2013 **TENTATIVE**
Do you have a student interested in aviation and aerospace? Then NASA Wings may be the camp for them. This camp is sponsored in large part by NASA’s Space Communication and Navigation branch. It is open to campers based on recommendation by a teacher or counselor.

Aviation Career Education (ACE) Academy
This camp, offered in conjunction with the FAA, provides education and experiences in a wide variety of career fields within aviation. Campers will learn about such varied topics as airport planning, supply chain management, and air traffic control. Each day is a new career field! The 2011 camp was sponsored in part by AARCorp, the Southern Illinois Airport Authority, and the Illinois Department of Transportation Division of Aeronautics.
